Project Grants Scheme in Theology and Religious Studies
The Project Grants Scheme in
Theology and Religious Studies has been established with the objective
of facilitating researchers and research teams into research capacity
building in the defined subject area of theology and religious
studies including the histories of religions. The Department of
An Taoiseach has, through the Department of Education and Science,
requested that the IRCHSS manage this scheme on its behalf.
This scheme is open to full-time
members of the academic staff, who are engaged in teaching and/or
research, either on a permanent basis or a temporary contract
of sufficient duration to cover the period of the proposed project.
The duration of these awards
will be for a maximum of three years.
