European Projects Officer

Sorcha has been working in research fund administration since 2003. She has experience working on both infrastructural research programme management and individual basic research grant administration. Previous to her role as European Projects Officer in IRCHSS, she worked with the Higher Education Authority research funding division in the administration of national infrastructural funding including the PRTLI; Fund for Digital Research; and the European Union North South Research Programme.

She has been awarded Masters Degree in International Relations at Dublin City University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Sorcha is the National Contact Point (NCP) for the Humanities and Social Sciences within FP7, and is responsible for IRCHSS European activities in ERAnets, bilateral agreements and other international fora.
